To tie in with the start of the 10 week training programs for the Auckland marathon we've revamped the training section.
The upgrade comes in two main parts. Firstly, custom training guides and training tracking. With custom training guides you can now create your own guide to follow rather than using the ones we have. Once in the calendar section, select the day you want to edit and then add however much training you want to complete. With custom training tracking you just mark the fact you are training towards an event and all related entried get recorded towards your total training. We've got more features coming for this section but always, let us know if you'd like to see something. We love the feedback we get and it's really useful for us to make the best online training tool out there.
The second part is a lot easier to explain as it's route mapper online! This has been the biggest request so far for us to implement and our first version is now up and running. We've got some great plans for this as well to integrate it more tightly with the appropriate sections but if you've been wondering how far you've been running or cycling, now you can find out!
I trust everyone's training is going well otherwise. Sunshine and summer seems to be on its way so it'll be great to get out for some evening running, rowing, cycling or social sport in the coming months.
